Terms of Service – PawFellowship

1. The platform

PawFellowship is a community platform that helps pet owners meet nearby members, organise Paw Dates, and request neighbourly pet care support. We are a facilitator only. We are not a party to any arrangement between members, and we do not employ, endorse, or verify any fellow on the platform.

2. No vetting of fellows (important)

Fellows on PawFellowship are not background-checked, DBS-checked, police-vetted, identity-verified, or professionally assessed in any way.
The only verification PawFellowship performs is email address confirmation.
You are solely responsible for evaluating any fellow's suitability before allowing them to care for your pet.
You must message the fellow, read their reviews, and arrange a Paw Date or face-to-face meet-and-greet before making any care request.
PawFellowship accepts no responsibility for any harm, loss, injury, or death to your pet arising from a care arrangement made through the platform.
By making a care request, you confirm that you have independently assessed the fellow and accept all associated risk.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Kibble Points

Kibble Points are a community points system used within the platform for care requests and neighbourly help. They are not money, have no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Kibble Points cannot be purchased, sold, refunded for money, or transferred outside the platform.
Kibble Points do not expire while your account is active.
If your account is terminated for violating these terms, any remaining Kibble Point balance is forfeited.

5. Care requests and cancellations

Care requests are agreements between two members. PawFellowship is not liable for any disputes arising from those arrangements. Kibble Points are held when a care request is accepted and released to the fellow on completion. Cancellations must be handled between the parties involved. We encourage early communication.

6. Limitation of liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawFellowship shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, or other harm to pets or persons arising from any arrangement made through the platform.
• You use the platform and engage with other members entirely at your own risk.
• PawFellowship is not a party to any care arrangement between members and bears no responsibility for the actions or conduct of any member.
• PawFellowship does not provide insurance of any kind. Members are responsible for arranging their own appropriate cover.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. You and PawFellowship agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
